Luxo's new Carelite is an evolution of the original Carelite bedside luminaire , which can be found in hospitals and patient rooms around the world.

The use of modern LED light sources has made it possible to reduce the size of the lamp head , compared to the original. Still, the integrated ergonomic handle retains its most important feature, allowing the patient to direct the light exactly where they want it, with minimal effort. The switch is positioned exactly where the thumb of the hand reaches when gripping the handle. This makes the operation easy, even for disabled patients. Carelite is fully adjustable.

Integrated night light:

Carelite is equipped with a night light, enough for the nurse to examine the patient.

Carelite has a covered spring-balanced arm for easy cleaning and safe, easy placement. The flexibility and precision of the arm means that Carelite can be positioned exactly where the light is needed.

Protected by SteriTouch:

Carelite is painted with SteriTouch® antimicrobial powder coat, which prevents the growth of bacteria, mold and biofilm. Based on ionic silver technology, antimicrobial performance remains continuously effective throughout the life of the product.

LED – Light source of the future:

Carelite LEDs are extremely efficient, dimmable and have an incredible life time of 50,000 hours or more. The powerful LED module has excellent light output giving Approximately 2,000 lux at 0.6 metres.
