Carbon Fiber Sheet (Thickness: 0.8mm / 2.1mm)

Thermoplastic material used for making insoles .

The carbon fiber composite fabric has excellent malleability, with medium stiffness and a medium degree of permanent elasticity.

Technical characteristics:

- Composition: Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) combined with reinforcements in polyester, polyamide and carbon fiber

- Molding temperature from 130º C

- Colour: Black

Measures:

- Thickness 0.8 mm - Plate of 0.5 x 1.2 meters (it is recommended to use it as reinforcement, in combination with other materials)

- Thickness 2.1 mm - Plate of 0.4 x 1.2 meters

How to use:

- Must be used by qualified professional

- The plate can be cut to the desired shape. It is easy to cut, paste and drill

- Heat the material at about 130 °C for 5-10 minutes depending on the thickness

- Apply on the mold and adapt it

- Molding processing is possible at a temperature between 130-140 °C

- Once cooled it can be lined with the desired material

Precautions:

- Do not heat above 140oC

- Do not heat with a flame, the material is flammable

- Cut in machine with extraction
