Lasermed 2200 is a 2-channel laser therapy device , equipped with automatic setting of the treatment time based on the energy to be delivered and the selected area and indication of the transmitted energy based on time and the treatment area.

Low-power contact laser therapy

Laser therapy is divided into contact therapy and scanning therapy, and both types can use monodiodic or multidiodic lasers.

In relation to monodiodic laser contact therapy, heads placed directly on the skin are used . It is going to intervene by stimulating the trigger points or the algic areas and the therapy requires the physical presence of the operator.

The most decisive applicative parameters in the use of lasers are: the power density (power emitted per area density of irradiated tissue, which is measured in W / cm2 and is determined by dividing the laser output power by the size of the beam).

Fluence is the most important parameter to determine the clinical effect of lasers, since it measures the amount of energy emitted per unit area of irradiated tissue, it is measured in J / cm2 and it is calculated by multiplying the power density by the time of exposition.

Each protocol provided by Medical Italia indicates the recommended influence for each type of treatment. It is the operator who, based on the area to be treated and the laser power, will modify the treatment time or the frequency, in order to convey the fluence.
