Domus 3 is the Apex SEMP recommended both for patients at high risk of pressure ulcer appearance (PU), and for the treatment of PUs up to grade III.

The Domus 3 is a replacement mattress with alternating pressure therapy (individual cells inflate and deflate, redistributing pressure in 9.6 minute cycles) and static function (which facilitates repositioning and patient transfers).

The compressor has a regulator depending on the weight of the patient (from 40 to 180 kilos). In addition, it is ergonomic, easy to use and clean. It has a visual and audible low pressure alarm that increases patient safety.

Therapeutic efficacy:

- Pressure Relief: High. Thanks to its 17 12.7 cm high alternating cells.

- Microclimate Management: High. Its padded Nylon PU cover is water resistant and vapor permeable. The cells are ventilated in the sacrum area to reduce skin maceration.

- Friction Reduction: Medium. It includes a Nylon PU cover that has passed tests for irritation and skin sensitivity.

- Patient safety: Basic. It incorporates visual and audible low pressure alarm and CPR. The sheath with silver ion treatment has passed the cytotoxicity test. Internal springs to guarantee air flow and protective cover to prevent external tube breakage.
