Posturomed: the device for PROPRIOCEPTIVE POSTURAL THERAPEUTIC TRAINING

BIOSWING Posturomed ® 202 is designed with a 60 x 60 cm therapy platform and a three-sided handrail for stationary use.

BIOSWING Posturomed ® is the sensorimotor device for prevention, therapy and diagnosis. Its therapy platform is suspended from a double oscillation mechanism that can precisely deliver damped pendulum movements with different adjustable oscillation amplitudes and frequencies.

How does Posturomed work?

In addition, Posturomed has analysis software that allows you to evaluate the user's evolution and adjust the training accordingly. The measured provocation of motor control by the somatosensory system in a closed movement chain in BIOSWING Posturomed ® allows achieving optimal quality in postural actions and reactions. This activation of segmental, sectoral, and polysegmental coordination serves to stabilize the load-bearing joints and the spine. A stable sensorimotor system forms the basis for an effective and pain-free musculoskeletal system.

BIOSWING Posturomed ® was launched on the market in 1995 as the first damped sensorimotor therapy device with unstable oscillation and was oriented from the beginning to therapeutic use. Its development began in the late 1980s in close collaboration between the company's founder, Eduard Haider, and physiotherapists active in practice and science, as well as doctors specializing in orthopedics, neurology, geriatric medicine and physical and rehabilitation medicine.

Accessories:

Rehabilitation module: Allows functional stabilization exercises for the knee, hip and pelvis in a closed, isometric or dynamic kinetic chain.

Contact module: Supports the quality of movement of your patients. Elastic bands of different lengths are placed that offer your patients tactile stimuli to highlight or restrict movement deviations.

Feedback module: Allows better visualization of the movements of the therapy platform, particularly in therapy with the rehabilitation module. The feedback module consists of three pairs to allow connection to three sides of the therapy platform.
