Magnetic Tape® is designed to facilitate the metameric normalization process and all its components 24 hours a day and without limiting activities of daily living or sports, whether the athlete/patient is in motion or at rest.

Magnetic Tape® is an elastic adhesive bandage with a longitudinal elongation of 50-60% designed to facilitate the process of metameric normalization by producing physical ionization when it comes into contact with electromagnetic fields such as those produced by living beings thanks to the formulation of particles metallic with magnetic properties that it incorporates per square centimeter acting in an uninterrupted, painless and non-invasive way, stimulating the receptors and cutaneous nerves allowing neural stimulation.

Magnetic Tape® is an innovative tool developed in Spain since 2015. It can be used exclusively or as an adjunct to other treatments and treatment modalities necessary for the patient's recovery, enhancing the effects of currently used therapies. Magnetic Tape® is designed to provide solutions and to help improve symptoms or resolve different musculoskeletal dysfunctions, taking into account the origin of each of them, whether they are traumatic, non-traumatic, local, peripheral or referred.

Magnetic Tape® can be used in all phases of therapeutic action, Prevention, Recovery, Rehabilitation and Performance for all athletes and patients at any place and time. It is completely painless, non-invasive, with immediate effect in most cases with pathology or dysfunction and without side effects. Its maximum power is less than 2 Gauss. The tape can be used for several days. It is hypoallergenic and contains no latex or medications. It is waterproof.

How does Magnetic Tape® work?

Electromagnetic radiation is a wave-like phenomenon. Electromagnetic waves are radio waves, infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, visible light waves, X-rays and gamma rays.

The electromagnetic field acts as the vehicle to induce the flow of ions (physical ionization) and does not stimulate the nerve tissue itself as electrical stimulation does directly. However, once the flow of ions is created, the mechanism of electrical and magnetic stimulation at the neural level is the same, producing axon depolarization and the initiation of the action potential.

The skin is the largest sensory organ in the body and is highly innervated. The nerve fibers it contains are the dendritic tips of sensory neurons whose cell bodies are found in the dorsal root ganglia.

What makes Magnetic Tape® different from other bandages?

- Magnetic Tape® is designed to provide solutions and to help improve symptoms or resolve different musculoskeletal dysfunctions , taking into account the origin of each of them, whether they are traumatic, non-traumatic, local, peripheral or referred.

- For the correct use of Magnetic Tape® it is necessary to assess the patient globally and discern whether the cause or the problem of the painful area is local and/or peripheral. Depending on the affected component or components of each metamere, Magnetic Tape® will be placed in one or several locations to normalize them, reducing inflammation and pain in the affected area.

Composition:

Cotton, elastane, acrylic adhesive and magnetic nanoparticles.

Storage and shelf life:

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures, above 37ºC and/or high humidity above 65%. The best performance of the tape occurs within the first year of purchase.

Warnings and Precautions:

Caution: Read and understand the Instructions for Use, Cautions and Warnings, and receive training in the correct application procedure before using Magnetic Tape®.

Caution in use or application if:
- The person is pregnant.
- The person has a pacemaker.
- The person has some contraindication to exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Caution: Do not use excessive lengthening of the tape during application to avoid chafing or skin irritation.
Warning:
- Do not apply on open wounds.
- Do not apply if there are skin problems, sensitive or atopic skin.
- Do not apply to people with cancer or epileptics.
- Discontinue use if the application of the product causes irritation, pain, redness, discomfort or dizziness.
