ADVANCED MUSCULOSKELETAL ULTRASOUND: LOWER EXTREMITIES MODULE - IN-PERSON APRIL 13 AND 14, 2024

ADVANCED musculoskeletal ultrasound course in which you will learn the basics of ultrasound, essential examinations of the lower extremity and the recognition of abnormal findings, improving clinical reasoning in physiotherapy.

– Brief reminder of the basics of ultrasound. Advanced ultrasound setup and image optimization

2. ECOANATOMY OF THE HIP
2. 1. Complete ultrasound examination of the coxofemoral joint

2. 2. Exploration of the anterior surface (musculature and nervous structures)

2. 3. Medial examination (adductor muscles and nervous structures)

2.4. Examination of the lateral aspect – Posterior examination (pelvitrochanteric muscles and nerves)

3. ECOANATOMY OF THE THIGH
3. 1. Complete examination of the anterior compartment

3. 2. Complete exploration of the posterior compartment (tour of the main nervous structures)

4. 1. Complete examination of the anterior surface
