Combimed 2200, with its 50 protocols for ultrasound and electrotherapy, is presented as a complete device in use. It has a 6-inch Touch & Scroll screen, 1 channel ultrasound therapy 1/3 Mhz and electrotherapy 2 independent channels, 17 waveforms.

Combimed 2200 is a device for combined or independent use of electrotherapy and 1/3 Mhz ultrasounds .

Ultrasound: Ultrasound therapy

Ultrasounds are used mainly to reduce pain and the main treatments are sciatica, neuritis, periarthritis. The thermal effect produced by the ultrasound increases the temperature in the deep tissues, and together with the mechanical effect the treatment translates into a micro-massage at the level of the cellular structures.

Combimed 2200 is equipped with multi-frequency handles (1/3 Mhz), which can be programmed by the operator for the purpose
to establish the depth of penetration requested by the treatment (with the frequency of 1 Mhz you can reach up to 3 cm deep, while with 3 Mhz you can reach up to 1 cm deep).

Electrotherapy:

Electrotherapy is used in order to stimulate the denervated muscle, to reduce the hypotrophy derived from the lack of use of the normal innervated muscle, to maintain the muscular trophism of the denervated or partially innervated muscle, to enhance the innervated muscle.

The effects of an electric current applied to a body tissue are represented through the successful motor, thermal, trophic, analgesic effect
and chemical.

Combimed has 26 low and medium frequency waveforms, which can be used in 1 or 2 channels in synchronized or independent mode.

Combined treatment:

The pre-configured programs of COMBIMED 2200 allow to perform, quickly and comfortably, a combined treatment that combines the analgesic and hyperemic effect of electrical stimulation with the mechanical and thermal effect of ultrasound.
