How to use:

CAUTION: Do not look directly into the bright LED light. Patients should close their eyes during the facial examination.

1) Charge the internal lithium battery for at least 4 hours before using the device for the first time, using the supplied USD charging cable. See “Battery and Charging” for more information.
2) Caution: If you are using your DermLite to perform fluid immersion dermoscopies, apply the fluid only to the skin and then place the Contact Disc (F) over the fluid. Do not allow fluid to come into contact with the Charging Port (PC).
3) Hold your DermLite DL200 so that the LEDs are pointing towards the skin. Place the device approximately 25 mm above the skin and press the Power button (P) to turn on the device.
4) Position yourself so that your eye is 25-50mm above the DermLite and look through the lens. Move the device away from or toward the skin to focus the image. To perform skin contact dermoscopies or to take images, rotate the Dial (D) to extend the Spacer (S) and focus the image. Press the Mode button (M) to choose between two brightness levels. To turn off the DermLite, press the power button or wait for it to turn off automatically after 3 minutes.
