Description
- Diathermy is the physical therapy with the most powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and muscle-relaxing effects, allowing us to achieve outstanding results in all types of musculoskeletal and, therefore, sports-related pathologies.
- This course will provide you with the knowledge to strategically select, within the therapeutic framework, the frequency, strength, technique, and duration of treatment to achieve optimal results, both in acute and chronic conditions.
- Students will practice using different diathermy equipment, applying manual, automatic, and myofascial electrodes.
What you will learn
- All the fundamental theoretical aspects of diathermy , to be able to perform treatments with maximum effectiveness and profitability.
- Be able to develop various therapeutic strategies , optimizing parameters such as: Frequency, Technique (capacitive/resistive), Mode (continuous/pulsed), Intensity and Time.
- Different forms of application of Diathermy and its combination with manual therapy, hands-free technique and Instrumentalized Myofascial Therapy.
- Treatment of sports pathologies such as: tendinopathies, fasciitis, muscle overload, muscle and tendon tears, bone edema, chondropathies and enthesopathies.
Addressed to
