The Domus 3 is the SEMP Apex recommended for both patients at high risk of developing pressure ulcers (PUs) and for the treatment of PUs up to grade III.

The Domus 3 is a replacement mattress with alternating pressure therapy (individual cells inflate and deflate, redistributing pressure in 9.6-minute cycles) and a static function (which facilitates patient repositioning and transfers).

The compressor features a weight-based regulator (from 40 to 180 kilos). It's also ergonomic, easy to use, and easy to clean. It features a visual and audible low-pressure alarm for increased patient safety.

Therapeutic efficacy:

- Pressure Relief: High. Thanks to its 17 alternating 12.7 cm high cells.

- Microclimate Management: High. Its padded nylon PU cover is water-resistant and vapor-permeable. The sacral cells are ventilated to reduce skin maceration.

- Friction Reduction: Medium. Includes a nylon PU cover that has passed skin irritation and sensitivity tests.

- Patient safety: Basic. It includes a visual and audible low-pressure alarm and CPR. The silver-ion-treated sheath has passed cytotoxicity testing. Internal springs ensure airflow and a protective sheath prevent breakage of the outer tube.

- Maximum supported weight: 180 kg.
