EvoStim E therapeutic unit: electrostimulation, biofeedback (EMG), provoked stimulation (EMG-triggered)

The EvoStim E electrostimulation device is, along with the EvoStim P, one of the most exclusive. The only difference between the two models P and E is the type of input biofeedback signal: the P model is used for grasper biofeedback and pressure-induced stimulation (more suitable for perineal re-education) while the E model is used for the electromyographic (EMG) biofeedback and stimulation caused by the EMG signal .

With EvoStim E, electrostimulation, EMG biofeedback and EMG-induced stimulation can be applied to both the external muscle (with adhesive transcutaneous electrodes) and perineal muscles (with vaginal or anal probes) . The device includes only four transcutaneous electrodes . However, the probe necessary for perineal treatments can be chosen from the range of accessories and ordered separately.

The provoked stimulation program (EVO) , with automatic increase of the voluntary contraction limit, allows " EMG-triggered stimulation ", also known as " muscular-cognitive re-education ", an effective treatment that takes advantage of the patient's remaining voluntary contraction and the advantages of electrostimulation.
