MUSCULOSKELETAL ULTRASOUND FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS: ESSENTIAL EXAMINATIONS
Basic musculoskeletal ultrasound course in which you will learn the basics of ultrasound, essential examinations of the lower extremity and the recognition of abnormal findings, improving clinical reasoning in physiotherapy.

MODULE 1:
Introduction, basic principles and introduction to normal ultrasound imaging (approximately 2 hours)
Seminar 1A: Introduction and physical principles of ultrasound.
Seminar 1B: Training in different imaging modes.
MODULE 2:
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Upper and Lower Limb
Seminar 2A : Upper limb musculoskeletal eco-anatomy + practical exercises (approximately 6.5 hours)
2Aa: Echo-anatomy of the shoulder and arm joint complex
2Ab: Echo-anatomy of the elbow and forearm joint complex
2Ac: Echo-anatomy of the wrist joint complex
Seminar 2B : Lower limb musculoskeletal eco-anatomy + practices (approximately 6.5 hours)
2Ba: Eco-anatomy of the hip joint complex and muscle
2Bb: Echo-anatomy of the knee and leg joint complex
2Bc: Echo-anatomy of the ankle joint complex
MODULE 3:
Introduction to Eco-guided Interventional Techniques: Eco-guided Invasive Physiotherapy (approximately 1 hour)
Seminar 3A : Introduction to dry needling, neuromodulation and ultrasound-guided percutaneous electrolysis (theoretical): explanation of the techniques and amplification of the physiotherapist's vision towards the use of these techniques.
