Teaching:
Sebastián Truyols
A doctor of physical therapy, he completed his thesis entitled "Effectiveness of Myofascial Treatment for Sprains of the External Lateral Ankle Ligament" in the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Physical Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, Rey Juan Carlos University, in June 2013, receiving a grade of Outstanding Cum Laude.
He began his work as a physiotherapist at La Mutualidad Deportiva de Fútbol players in Madrid and later worked as a physiotherapist at Rayo Majadahonda, from where he joined Club Atlético de Madrid, where he worked as a physiotherapist and recovery specialist for the First Team for six seasons.
His teaching and research career began in 2002 in the Department of Physical Activity and Health at the Alfonso X El Sabio University as an associate professor in the Department of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, working mainly in the field of sports physiotherapy and recovery.
He has participated as a visiting professor or as director in more than 40 postgraduate and doctoral courses at different academic centers, including being named "promoter of the class" for Physiotherapy students at Francisco de Vitoria University during the 2011-2012 academic year.
