Agenda and teacher

Description:

We have already commented in many courses that Diathermy is the ideal physical therapy to treat pathologies, and of course the sequelae derived from them, given its powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory, muscle-relaxing and biostimulant effect. All this allows us to obtain outstanding results in our therapies, shortening recovery time and increasing patient satisfaction.

In this course we are going to analyze how SARS-CoV-2 affects the human body and the most common sequelae suffered by patients once the disease has been overcome. We will know in depth how to treat these sequelae with Diathermy, to facilitate our patients to return to the activities of daily life as soon as possible and in the best conditions.

DATE : MARCH 11, 2023

SCHEDULE : 9:30-12:00h

TEACHERS : Esmeralda Banacloy

PLACE : Via ZOOM (You will receive the link by email one or two days before the training)

What you will learn:

- We will briefly review the fundamental theoretical aspects of Diathermy, in order to perform treatments with maximum safety and efficacy.

- To elaborate various therapeutic strategies, adapting them to the phases of the pathology or to the symptoms on which we want to influence, optimizing parameters such as: Frequency, Technique (capacitive/resistive), Mode (continuous/pulsed), Intensity and Time.

- How to apply the different special diathermy programs: hands-free, myofascial tools, scanning, athermic and pulsed, combining them with respiratory physiotherapy and kinesitherapy.

- Treatment protocols in various sequelae of COVID-19: Dyspnea on exertion, pressure ulcers, asthenia, fibrosis and adhesive capsulitis, epithelial alterations, residual edema, lack of mobility, loss of ROM, entrapment neuropathies, headaches and insomnia.

Addressed to:

Health professionals: physiotherapists, doctors…

«I have been working with diathermy equipment of different brands for more than 25 years, currently in our practice we have 10 different equipment and I have to admit that if they are applied correctly and we have a correct diagnosis, excellent results are obtained with all of them and in some cases surprising even."
