Radiofrequency diathermy for the treatment of acute and chronic pain - in person - March 28, 2026
Limited places
Agenda and teacher
- In this training, you will acquire sufficient knowledge to strategically select, within the therapeutic framework, the frequency, potency, technique, and duration of treatment to achieve optimal results in pathologies that present with pain, both acute and chronic.
- Diathermy is the most powerful noninvasive physical therapy with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and muscle-relaxing effects. This combination of widely demonstrated effects allows us to go beyond simple pain reduction, facilitating the regeneration of affected tissues, when this is still possible, and allowing us to achieve outstanding results in all types of pathologies.
- View videos showing the correct way to use diathermy, using standard manual, convex, automatic, and myofascial electrodes.
DATE : Saturday, March 28, 2025
SCHEDULE : 9:30-14:30h
TEACHERS : Esmeralda Banacloy
LOCATION : Fisaude Headquarters, Sierra Filabres Street, 1. La Olivilla Industrial Park. 28946. Fuenlabrada (Madrid)
What you will learn:
- All the fundamental theoretical aspects of diathermy in relation to pain treatment to reduce these symptoms in the shortest possible time and avoid subsequent complications due to improper pain management: hyperalgesia, allodynia, neuropathic pain.
- Be able to develop various therapeutic strategies to treat pain with maximum effectiveness and prevent unwanted side effects.
- Different forms of diathermy application and its combination with manual therapy, free-hand techniques, and instrumental myofascial therapy.
- Pain treatment for conditions such as tendinopathies, neuropathies, fasciitis, muscle contractures, arthritis, osteoarthritis, muscle and tendon tears, bone edema, etc.

"I've been working with diathermy equipment from different brands for over 25 years. We currently have 10 different brands in our practice. I must admit that if used correctly and with an accurate diagnosis, all of them yield excellent, and in some cases, even surprising, results."
