Description

RSP Conic Isoinertial Machine – Conical Pulley for Analytical Training and Rehabilitation

The RSP Conic isoinertial machine is a high-precision conical pulley designed for analytical training, neuromuscular re-education, and injury rehabilitation in segmental muscle groups of the upper and lower body. Thanks to its patented conical axle , it allows for the development of high acceleration peaks by applying reduced initial force levels, faithfully reproducing the biomechanics and kinematics of athletic movements without altering the movement technique.

Its progressive inertial behavior and controlled eccentric braking capacity make it a fundamental solution for physiotherapy clinics, high-performance centers, and sports professionals who require quality stimuli both in early recovery phases and in specific physical preparation.

RSP Conic Presentation Machine

The main characteristic of RSP Conic, due to the nature of the cone, is that the movement is accelerated with progressive loading . As the rope travels through the cone, its radius decreases, increasing resistance until the end of the movement. The load is inertial, meaning that it depends on the power the user applies to the implement ; the power values will be higher or lower. This feature broadens the range of use for users, as we always work with percentages of the user's individual power output.

Key points

  • Analytical and segmental work: Specifically designed to isolate and precisely train shoulder rotators, hip rotators, core stabilizing muscles, and single-leg loading patterns.
  • Early and safe readaptation: Generates inertial load with minimal concentric force demands, allowing reintroduction of mechanical stimuli in the initial phases of recovery without overloading the damaged tissue.
  • Controlled eccentric acceleration and overload: Simulates high-speed ballistic movements that end with a coordinated eccentric deceleration, key to preventing relapses and strengthening myotendinous muscles.
  • Continuous multi-angle adjustment: Versatile system using a 120 cm wall rail and eye bolt for floor anchoring, allowing traction on horizontal, diagonal and vertical planes.
  • Low friction marine components: Integration of Harken Carbo pulleys and bearings that ensure smooth rope movement and long-lasting durability in intensive professional use.

RSP Conic Technical Machine

We can perform a wide variety of exercises, working all muscle groups with a single device by attaching any implement to the end of the handle. This machine also has a very wide weight range.

We work on the load increase by acting on the radius of the free cone using a windable cable and modifying the moment of inertia using 4 masses integrated into the disc.

Clinical uses and applications

  • Physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation: Treatment and readaptation of tendinopathies (patellar, Achilles, rotator cuff), post-surgical reconditioning and motor control re-education.
  • Preventive eccentric training: Improvement of tendon stiffness, increase in the length of muscle fascicles and reduction of the risk of deceleration-induced muscle fiber tears.
  • Kinematic transfer to sports gesture: Reproduction and acceleration of ballistic technical patterns (racket strokes, throws, changes of direction or smashes) at real speed.
  • Joint stability and neuromuscular control: Unipodal and core stabilization exercises aimed at dynamic control in unstable or reactive supports.

Who is it for?

  • Physiotherapists and rehabilitation centers: Clinics seeking advanced isoinertial tools to intervene safely from the initial stages of an injury.
  • Physical-sports rehabilitation specialists: Professionals focused on return-to-play protocols that require millimeter-precise progressions of the braking load.
  • Physical trainers and high-performance coaches: Technicians who need to develop power, segmental speed and eccentric strength in competitive athletes.
  • Sports medicine and biomechanics centers: Professionals focused on the evaluation and functional optimization of human movement.

Warranty

The RSP Conic isoinertial machine has a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects in its structure and mechanical components, with direct technical support service and availability of spare parts through Fisaude.
