The Serene is the SEMP Apex recommended for special needs (intensive care, major burns, multiple trauma, etc.). It covers all types of pressure ulcer situations: from patients at risk of developing pressure ulcers (from low to very high) to those already receiving treatment (with grade I to grade IV pressure ulcers) .

The Serene is a continuous low pressure and alternating pressure therapy replacement mattress.

This team has four therapies:

1 - Continuous low pressure therapy (Static ): immerses and envelops the patient on the surface, achieving continuous low pressure.

2 - Anti-shear therapy (Seat inflate): increases the pressure of the equipment by 4 mmHg to minimize the shear effect in the sacral area when the patient is upright (with an inclination less than 30º).

3 - Alternating therapy: Individual cells inflate and deflate, redistributing pressure.

4 - Pulsation Therapy : Every 15 seconds the mattress inflates and deflates, promoting oxygenation.

The compressor features a digital regulator that adjusts according to the patient's weight (from 40 to 200 kilos). It has three silenceable visual and audible alarms that indicate low pressure, power failure, and malfunction. It includes a Maximum Firmness function that facilitates patient repositioning and transfers. After 20 minutes, it returns to the previously set function. For added security, the control panel can be locked.

Controlled air loss: Optimal microclimate management thanks to continuous air intake and output (120 liters/minute), keeping patients dry and free of moisture.

Heel Immersion Zone : Reduces pressure in the heel area by 50% (from cell 13 to 20).

Cell upon cell : Cells made of TPU nylon that allow them to remain inflated for up to 8 hours. Maximum therapeutic efficacy thanks to the height of its 20 cells (20.3 cm).

CPR : Visible and easy to use, it facilitates resuscitation in the event of cardiac arrest. It allows for rapid deflation in an emergency.
