The Serene is the SEMP Apex recommended for special needs (intensive care, large burns, multiple injuries, ...). It covers all kinds of situations in the field of PUs: from patients at risk of pressure ulcers (from low to very high), to those who are already under treatment (with PUs from grade I to grade IV) .

The Serene is a continuous low pressure alternating pressure therapy replacement mattress.

This team has four therapies:

1 - Continuous low pressure therapy (Static ): immerses and envelops the patient on the surface, achieving low pressure continuously.

2 - Anti-shear therapy (Seat inflate): increases the pressure of the equipment by 4 mmHg to minimize the shear effect in the sacrum area when the patient is sitting up (with an inclination of less than 30º).

3 - Alternating therapy: The individual cells inflate and deflate, redistributing the pressure.

4 - Pulsation Therapy : Every 15 seconds the mattress inflates and deflates, promoting oxygenation

The compressor has a digital regulator that is adjusted according to the weight of the patient (from 40 to 200 kilos). It has 3 silenceable visual and audible alarms that indicate low pressure (Low Pressure), electrical failure (Power Failure) and breakdown. It incorporates the Maximum Firmness (Max Firm) function that facilitates repositioning and patient transfers. After 20 minutes, it returns to the previously determined function. For added security, the control panel can be locked.

Controlled air loss: Optimal microclimate management thanks to the continuous air inlet and outlet (120 liters / minute) keeping patients dry and free from humidity.

Heel Immersion Zone : Reduces pressure in the heel area by 50% (from cells 13 to 20).

Cell on cell : Cells made of Nylon TPU that allow to keep them inflated for 8 hours. Maximum therapeutic efficacy, thanks to the height of its 20 cells (20.3 cm).

CPR : Visible and easy to use that facilitates resuscitation in the event of cardiorespiratory arrest. Allows rapid deflation in an emergency.

Bidirectional Polyester cover: With antibacterial treatment of Silver Ion (Ag +). Vapor permeable, water resistant, fire retardant and with MRSA antibacterial treatment. Two-way zipper.
