How to apply tecartherapy in animals?

To use tecartherapy there are different preparation phases, first of all the shearing of the animal for the application of the plate. The limb to be sheared is the contralateral limb, that is, the limb opposite the one to be treated.

The cream is then applied to this sheared part and the animal is placed in lateral decubitus with the sheared point downwards, and the plate is applied to that point. The part to be treated is also shaved , that is, the entire portion of the member between the shoulder and the elbow in its innermost portion. In this case, the sheared part is spread with the cream, a little is also applied to the head, and then the treatment begins. The treatment foresees a continuous sweep that follows the muscle fibers and therefore a longitudinal sweep.
