Description

Ideal syringe for anesthesia. Inject without needle, without pain, without contact. Made of stainless steel

Composition:

It comes in the form of a cylinder that is separated into four elements.

a) A fully metallic syringe body comprising a small diameter centric piston, its spring and its lever.

b) An injection head , provided with a valve that retains the liquid when the device is assembled, and pierces, at the lower end, a small hole with a diameter of 2/10 mm.

c) A transparent cylinder that serves as a reservoir for the liquid to be injected. Its capacity is 4 cm3.

d) An adjustment sleeve to fix the endpiece and the cylinder on the body of the syringe. The total weight is approximately 300 grams

Functioning:

To insert the liquid, when it is filled, the tip is unscrewed and the tank is filled. The adjustment sleeve is reset and tightened. The tank communicates with a small cylinder in which the pressurization is carried out thanks to the piston. The mechanical device automatically takes a small amount of liquid: this is 1/10 ml. It is armed by lowering the lever. In the armament, the apparatus must be kept vertical. A trigger on the top of the device is squeezed with the thumb. This trigger releases the piston at the required moment. The liquid, strongly compressed, passes through the capillary orifice. The pressure produced is approximately 100 Kg / cm2. The jet, very thin, pierces the skin and instantly produces a large characteristic papule. At the top of it you can see a small narrowness at the point where the liquid has penetrated the integument.

Injection Technique:

The head of the device can be found, either in contact with the skin or a few centimeters. The depth of the injection depends on the distance of the device and its inclination in relation to the cutaneous plan. After a simple pressure with the thumb, the injection already done, it is enough to reassemble the "DERMO JET" by simply lowering the lever. You can then practice forty injections in a very short time. For more precautions, it should be noted that the device must be primed after filling it and this, driving the weapon lever five or six consecutive times keeping the top button pressed (device kept vertical). In human medicine, the variations of the depth of penetration depend on the injection site of the distance and the angle of injection in relation to the skin plan. Taking into account these different factors, the technique varies according to the required objective. The variation of the inclination of the device, in relation to the cutaneous plan and the joint adjustment of the penetration allow to reach with precision, both the superficial or deep dermis, and the underlying tissues.

Sterilization :

The sterilization of the device is simple: simply remove the cap and remove the injection head and its reservoir: you can then practice a complete emptying and cleaning of the unit. The sterilization will be done either in an oven, or by boiling, submerging the appliance in boiling water for about twenty minutes. It is better to use distilled water for this, since the presence of mineral salts could cause the capillary hole to clog. It can also be sterilized in an autoclave or in other ways.

Caution :

1. Rinse the reservoir with alcohol once a week

2. Do not leave the anesthetic for more than 2 or 3 days, to avoid its decomposition. The brown deposit that can be seen then is not rust, but a decomposition product of the anesthetic. It is simply removed when drying.

3. Change seal # 6 after 6000 injections. Take care that the widened part and the washer 16 face upwards (that is, towards the opposite side of the joint).
