Liberty Loop vaginal probe: Ideal for controlling urinary incontinence and strengthening the pelvic muscles

The Liberty Loop Intravaginal Probe is intended for the treatment of female urinary incontinence through muscle stimulation and EN60601-01 approved electromyographic biofeedback equipment.

Important:

- For personal use only

- It can be used by the same patient.

- Wash before the first use.

- Do not use if the container is open or damaged.

Contraindications:

Do not use the Muscle Stimulator in the following cases:

- Implanted pacemaker, can alter the correct functioning of the device.

- Pregnancy, the influence on the fetus is unknown.

- Vaginal or bladder infection, or a recent surgical scar, the introduction of the catheter can aggravate the infection.

- With a history of carcinoma at the site of stimulation, laboratory tests show that electrical stimulation can increase cell division.

Caution is advised in the following cases:

- Patients with impaired or reduced muscle tissue sensitivity, excessive stimulation can result in tissue inflammation.

- Patients with a history of epilepsy, the use of electrical stimulation can lower the threshold of the attack.
Product shelf life in use: 6 months

Cleaning:

The Liberty electrode is intended for single patient use only.

Before the first use and after the following, the appliance must be cleaned as follows:

Wash the electrode including the cable in warm soapy water. Rinse with clean water.

Dry the electrode with a clean cloth / paper towel and leave out until completely dry, before putting it back in the plastic bag.

DO NOT IMMERSE in liquid.

DO NOT USE boiling water.

Waste disposal

Clean and dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Instructions for use:

1. Take the electrode out of the package and clean it.

2. Insert the cable into the groove inside the probe.

3. Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the electrode, and insert it until the flange at the base of the electrode rests between the labia.

4. Make sure that the muscle stimulator or electromyographic biofeedback equipment is turned off, and connect the device with the electrode through the ends of the connector.

5. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for using the stimulator or biofeedback unit.

6. After use, turn off the appliance, disconnect the electrode cable and clean as above.

Biofeedback Pointer

You can attach the pointer to the base of the free loop to show the correct muscle contraction effect.

It can be used with stimulation or to aid voluntary Kegel exercises.

During a correct contraction the pointer should move downward.
