The moxa applicator is used with moxa powder or pre-cut cigars . Moving it around the areas to be treated or along the meridians, with the heat produced by the lit moxa, it creates a comfortable sensation of well-being and an effective treatment.

In case it feels very hot and to avoid skin burns, it is advisable to use a thin garment between the applicator and the skin.

1. Light the Moxa stick and, with the lit side facing forward, insert it through the back of the applicator. Metal catches at the end of the applicator head prevent it from slipping.

2. Similar to a pen button, gently press the end of the applicator to allow the wand to slide until the ember is in the center of the head.

3. Go pressing whenever appropriate, to maintain the position of the ember on the head. To remove ash, simply swipe it out or tap the applicator gently
