Ortho 2000 fluid silicone: ideal for making special orthoses

Ortho 2000 is a fluid silicone for making special podiatric orthoses. It comes in a fluid, viscous beige/grey color with a sticky touch. It is ideal for making special orthoses, since it can be mixed in combination with tubular bandages, such as TUBINET, TUBESPUMA, GASAS, etc.

In this way, extra thin and flexible but resistant orthoses can be made, as they carry the textile reinforcement inside.

App:

1) Cut a piece of tubular or gauze to the appropriate shape.

2) Pour the appropriate amount of silicone on a sheet of silicone paper, or plastic plate.

3) Pour the catalyst in proper amount (5 to 10%).

4) Knead well in combination with the added bandage.

5) Apply the silicone and the bandage kneaded to the point of the orthosis and model. Cover the area with plastic.

6) Once removed and after 10 minutes, the orthosis can be trimmed and perfected.
