Description

The Riester Ri-Scope retinoscope is the most complete device on the market. The equipment includes two fixation cards for dynamic retinoscopy, a case with a safety lock and a spare lamp.

Technical characteristics:

- The ri-scope® retinoscope (skiascope) measures the refractive power of the eye. It allows detecting and determining refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.

- With 3.5 V XL xenon lamp or 2.5 V HL halogen lamp.

- You can choose between two versions:

- The point skioscope projects a circular beam of light.

- The line skioscope projects a linear light beam that facilitates the detection and determination of astigmatic refractive errors. The linear reflex moves perpendicular to the axis and with slight oscillating movements on the patient's pupils. The shadow moves in the same direction or in the opposite direction.

- Displacement in the same direction (positive lines): Hypermetropic patient.
- Displacement in the opposite direction (negative lines): Myopic patient.

- Easy handling thanks to the knurled screw. The dash and dot are focused and rotated by 360° with the control element, the angle can be read off on the integrated scale.

- Support to hook and hold the fixation cards for dynamic skiascopy.

- Two fixing cards are included. The patient's eye can be optimally accommodated at the distance from the skiascope.

- Integrated goggle protector.

- Bayonet lock for quick and secure attachment to the handle.

- Dust-proof, very robust and light housing made of resistant plastic.

- Easy replacement of the lamp at the bottom of the instrument head.

- Large selection of power supplies: comfortable and resistant handles, practical chargers and studied diagnostic units.
